( 1 ) Please join us on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 12 noon to celebrate the 1st day of the Chinese New Year at 11 Hudson

Street, Boston.

( 2 ) The Ancestral Memorial Ceremony will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 12 noon at the Yee Fung Toy Association,

11 Hudson Street, Boston. All members and immediate family members are welcome.

( 3 ) The Spring Festival and Seniors Appreciation Banquet will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Empire

Garden Restaurant on 690 Washington Street, Boston. Year 2023 scholarships will be awarded.

Banquet tickets are $30.00 per person. Seniors age 65 and over are free. Please register in person at the Yee Association and

obtain banquet tickets for proper seating arrangements. Seniors age 70 and over will receive a lucky red envelope money.

Seniors must be registered members. Seniors have to pay the Chinese New Year’s contribution to the Association.

All present and former scholarship recipients will be able to attend our banquet free of charge, as long as they make

their annual donation.

Tickets will be on sale starting Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Yee Association, 11 Hudson Street, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

or until all available tickets are sold out. Phone inquiry: (617) 338-8179. However, there are no phone reservations.

For those members who wish to come to the Association to make their annual contribution, staff should be available after

February 2 between 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays only (weather permitting). For questions and to check if someone is at the

The following is information on the scholarship applications:

All of the Yee Family sons and daughters who are awarded college scholarships or have a current GPA of 3.5 may apply for

the Yee Association Scholarship. Applications will only be processed with proof of college scholarship awarded or have

grade point average 3.5 or above. A copy of most recent grades or scholarship award letter must be provided and completed

applications must be received by our office by March 1, 2025. To obtain an application, please come to our Association or

email paula1688@comcast.net to request a copy to be sent via email.

Thanks to the generous donations and pledges from 余建元 Gen Yuen Yee’s and 余國濟 Kwok Chi Yee’s families, we are

able to implement postgraduate degree scholarships to be given to a Yee Family son or daughter who is currently enrolled in

a postgraduate degree program. The Scholarship Committee will review all applications and select two recipients.

Applications must be received by our office by March 1, 2025. To obtain an application, please come to our Association or

email paula1688@comcast.net to request a copy to be sent via email.

The scholarship will be given out at our new year banquet. However......

The student must accept the award in person. No family member is allowed to accept the award for the student.

If the student is not able to attend the new year banquet, then he or she must attend any of the Yee Association

activities/functions throughout the year and come in person to accept the award.

A Yee family student is a college student who has a parent who has been a member of the Yee Family Association for at least

one year and lives in New England. The parent and applicant (if applicable) must be registered with the Yee Fung Toy

Association and also pays the annual Chinese New Year’s contribution to the Association.

餐券前必須已在本堂註册為會員及繳清香油費. 耆英餐券必須是本人才有權亨受. 年滿七十歲者另贈紅

包.

所有現任和前任獲得獎學金者可以免費參加春宴但需要簽香油.

由三月二日 (星期日) 開始售券, 售券地點在乞臣街本堂, 售券時間當天由上午九時半至下午三時, 席

( A) 凡本族及余姓出嫁女之子女在大學獲得獎學金或平均成績 (GPA) 3.5 以上者均可申請本堂獎學金, 申請

時必須提供有效的大學奬學金文件或最近一期的成績單.. 獎學金申請時間由即日起至二零二五年三月一

日止. 獎學金申請表請來本堂或電郵至 paula1688@comcast.net 索取.

(B) 多謝余建元宗親和余國濟顧問的家人慷慨捐贈,我們得以實施研究生學位獎學金,以提供給目前

就讀研究生學位課程余姓宗親的子女。 獎學金委員會將審核所有申請 人並選出兩名獲獎者。

申請截止日期二零二五年三月一日。 索取申請表格,請到本堂或發送電郵至

獎學金將繼續在春宴時頒發

得奬學生必須親身領取奬學金, 其他家人不能代領

如果得奬學生不能在春宴時親身領取獎學金, 必須參加該年度本堂的任何一種活動或集會時親身

領取

學生參加本堂活動或集會的機會非常多, 我們每年有四次會員大會、清明節、雙親加祖父毋節、夏天郊遊、中秋節、火雞

節、冬至節. 學生和家人有很多機會參加上述本堂的活動和集會, 並同時親身領取獎學金
